BUGSY X BIO

LeVert Threats Jr, directorial name Bugsy X, was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended several high schools in the area, with Washington High School serving as the school where he experienced his longest tenure. He was not a member of any drama club, nor did he participate in any stage or theatrical productions during his high school days. He was more into sports, basketball in particular, but bad grades, due in large part to missing far too many days of school, ruined any chances he may have had to touch a basketball during his high school experience.

Bugsy pulled himself together enough to attend Indian Hills Community College and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on an athletic scholarship (basketball). He graduated with his Associates of Arts and Sciences, and Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the two schools.

Bugsy had the opportunity to play basketball professionally overseas, and enjoyed a nine year stint in the Social Work field. He started his own film production company called X-Facta Films in 2006, and he started devoting his undivided attention to the company as of February 2007.

Bugsy has completed a feature length documentary called “A Touch of Grey” in March of 2007, and he’s currently working on his next project, which is to be his first feature length film. He has written six scripts that are currently in line, waiting on production.

“A Touch of Grey” is currently being shopped around to several film festivals, and distributors respectively.
